Mary Urbville

For the last twenty years I’ve lived just south of Charlotte, in Union County. Waxhaw is just minutes away from Mecklenburg County so we enjoy all the benefits of Charlotte, while still living in a more rural environment. My family consists of my husband, Gary and our five children, four cats and one loveable cock-a-poo puppy. God has given me a passion to write! He has blessed me with ACFW critique group and I look forward to working and getting to know the talented writers in the Carolinas. I have a complete Historical fiction novel – Along the Broken Road. I am in the process of doing a final edit and with the Lord’s guidance I hope to start the submission process by June.

I also work as a freelance writer, writing for several local newspapers in my area. I have also written for magazines and contribute to an online hospital group. My other part-time work is as an ER nurse, I work several days a month there and I own a small real estate company.

My hobbies include – Bible study, cooking, traveling, and of course writing. My favorite verse is John 16:33.
